Olympic Scarf.
The 2012 Olympics in London are getting so close now, and I decided to do my bit for Team GB. NEXT have designed an official scarf which is more than an accessory as the design dipictcs:
- 900 Figures to represent 900 athletes of Team GB
- 900 Hearts, showing our special love for each of them.
- 900 Stars, to recognise every athlete is a true star.
- 60 Hands, symbolising the athletes’ 60 million supporters.
- 26 Sports competed in the 2012 games.
- 14 Paralympic Lions, as London hosts the 14th Paralympic Games.
The design also includes English roses, Welsh daffodils, Irish flax and Scottish thistles.
