Reporting Royalty, it's done.
These past few weeks have been hard. When I say hard, I mean that they have been the most testing few weeks of my life - every final year student who has had to do a dissertation will agree with me. Late nights in the library - sometimes not getting in until 8:00am the next morning, all I can say is thank God for 24 hour McDonald’s. Amen.  However, today it all came to an end....

Undercover blogger.
The first thing I have to say is; sorry. When I first started this blog back in 2010 I made a promise to update it regularly and that really has not been the case… However third year has definitely taken its toll. I’m not going to bore you all and tell you how much work I have to do (reserved for Twitter), but at the minute it’s completely consuming my life. Right now, I’m...

Hello Lincoln, it's good to be back.
My nose is cold, my feet a numb and my hands are finding it difficult to write this. Winter has well and truly arrived. Like many Brits, I am one of those who turns hysterical as soon as the first flake of snow falls on the floor - usually out of excitement. However, I feel it’s a little too late. A month earlier and Christmas may have felt even more Christmassy than it was.  It feels good...

Starbucks - The experience: Changes
People who know me usually know that I love Starbucks. Not just because of the coffee, but because of the atmosphere they provide. I’m sat near the window gazing out at the people rushing from A to B. There’s a lady with her head down walking out of Lakeland layered with bags - shopaholic, a business man crosses the road clutching a briefcase and a small McDonald’s bag -...

Challenge Austen.
As the new year begins I’ve decided to set myself a little challenge. As I’ve said before, I don’t believe in New Year’s Resolutions so this will have to do. I want to broaden my knowledge, specifically chick-lit which is a guilty pleasure that takes up the majority of my book case - shameful I know.  After I’ve finished ‘One Perfect Summer’ by Paige...

Happy New Year! 2013 has arrived.
My mind is a bit of blur. Did everything over the past year happen? Because it sure was a good year. A lot of people complain saying that time goes by so fast but I don’t always understand that theory. The reason being, when you sit down and think about everything you’ve done over the past year a lot of things start to come back to you. At least...

My Dad and I.
Many people I expect have this conversation when they leave their house.
Me: Did you lock the front door?
Dad: No. I left it wide open.

Happy Holiday's.
There is a reason why Andy Williams described Christmas as “the most wonderful time of the year”, simply because it is. This Christmas has been no expectation to statement. Having been eternally spoilt for the 20th year running, Christmas 2012 had all the ingredients for a perfect festive few days. There were smiles on people’s faces, laughter, amazing food and good company....

It really has been a while...
When I started my third year of Uni back in September I knew posts would be few and far between, but I never expected it to be as long as this. However, having handed in my final assessment yesterday I’m completely done until January - yay! Words cannot begin to describe how hectic this year has been, only three months in, I can safely say third year is the most challenging but best year...

Hello Lincoln, hello third year!
My bags have been packed and unpacked, I have seen so many friends, met some new faces and had my first lecture of my final year at Uni - I must be back in Lincoln. This past week has made me realise how much I’ve missed the Cathedral City, the friendly faces I see every day, Starbucks in a morning, the parties and incredible amounts of alcohol consumed during freshers week. Is it bad sat in...

Oh Hey September!
September, it’s here already. In fact, we’re already six days into September which means I’m slightly behind the times. Never mind, I have been uploading pretty pictures so that must count for something, right?  I’ve been thinking about myself and where I lack in my ability of a good sense of direction, I feel I gain in being a good judge when it comes to places I have...

A little recap...
Hello to you all, once again, I have neglected the writing side of this blog. I hope the photos have managed to add a few pieces to my story of the past month. August has always been a busy month. Turning 20, visiting the Big Smoke (London) and falling victim to an aggressive strain of tonsillitis are just a few of the things that have taken up a lot of this months time. It’s hard to...
